Accelerating digital change at The Oil and Gas IoT Summit 2020

The far-reaching potential of IoT has long been recognised by the Oil and Gas industry. However, the slow pace of change from traditional, conventional ways of operating towards innovative digital technologies, processes and business models is leaving many organisations at risk of losing millions in savings and revenue.

The Oil and Gas IoT Summit 2020 will showcase real-world transformation strategies from operators at the forefront of digital change including NOV, Eni and Petrofac. Join us to learn how they successfully leverage technology to accelerate change, overcome challenges to adoption and their plans for the future – find out more here.

FIVE: Lisbon

We’re often asked, why Lisbon? If you’ve been you’ll know. If you’ve not… then you have a treat in store. (Who wants to go to Stavanger in January?)

The weather. A balmy 8 degrees in January.

The culture and architecture. Beautiful cobbled streets (heels not advisable – I speak from experience), trams, street performers, a REALLY long bridge and excellent shopping.

The food. Portuguese food is famous the world over and in Lisbon, you really are spoiled for choice. Meat-lover? Dinner at Sala de Corte, a favourite of the Oil and Gas Summit team, is an absolute must or, if pop-ups, street food and live music are more your thing, check out the Time Out Market. (How many Pastel de nata is TOO many? Asking for a friend…)

Lisbon is an amazing city – if you’re coming to the Summit be sure to add a couple of days on to your trip, you’ll regret not staying to explore!
